Our schedule of in-person (and livestreamed) services are as follows:
Rosh Hashanah Service, Friday, September 11th at 7:30 pm (Oneg to follow) Yom Kippur Kol Nidre Service, Sunday, September 20th at 7:30 pmYom Kippur Memorial and Closing Service, Monday, September 21st at 5:00 pm. 
All three services will be open to members and non-members, their families, and guests, both in-person and by livestream. Non-members must pre-register, no later than Friday, September 4, for location details or livestream instructions. Register on&nbsp;CHJ’s website. While our services are free of charge, we kindly ask non-members to consider a donation.

The Jay Heritage Center in Rye, New York will celebrate America at 250 with a toast to Jay Medal honorees Pulitzer Prize-winning author Annette Gordon-Reed, the Carl M. Loeb University Professor at Harvard University and award-winning Lincoln historian Harold Holzer.
The Jay Medal for Service was created in 2012 to recognize individuals who demonstrate a selfless spirit of commitment to and engagement with their community mirroring the multifaceted contributions of John Jay and his descendants. These honorees have demonstrated through their life's work that our shared narratives as a country, complicated as they are, can be better illuminated through the highest caliber of ongoing scholarship and advocacy. Honorees are selected for their excellence in the fields of American history, environmental stewardship, social justice or civic engagement.
Joining the celebration will be Chief Judge of the State of New York and the New York Court of Appeals, Honorable Rowan D. Wilson and historian and philanthropist Elihu Rose who will present the awards at JHC's annual Soirée. Special guests will include David Blight, Frank Cogliano, Joanne Freeman, and Beverly Gage.

We meet up at Grand Central and then check out fiber art pieces at galleries along 10th Avenue, including the full display of Kandy G. Lopez’s striking woven pieces. You’ll love the views from the rooftop park on Pier 57, the High Line, and Little Island. We will eat lunch and stitch an embroidery project (all levels welcome!) in the welcoming public space at Pier 57. We will take the train to and from New York City (or you can meet us there!). We make the decisions so you don't have to!&nbsp;
Please Note:&nbsp;This trip includes walking at a leisurely pace, around 12 - 14k steps spread out throughout the day. We build in time for resting. Wear comfortable shoes!
