Jana Pickart, Neighbor

Jana Pickart is a freelance writer and community activist concerned with gender justice, indigenous sovereignty, community resilience, and local economic equity.  She is conducting an independent research project on women's war journalism as an intern at UMass Boston's Consortium on Gender, Security and Human Rights.  In her local community, she currently volunteers with the Measuring Resilience working group, associated with JP New Economy in Transition (JPNET).
