Enjoy Saturday morning drop-in yoga classes held in the heart of Landcraft Garden. Please bring your own yoga mat and enjoy the healing powers of nature and movement. You are invited to explore the garden after class.
Megan Bowles&nbsp;is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher (CIYT) and has been teaching yoga for 13 years.&nbsp;&nbsp;She studied under teachers John Schumacher, Patricia Walden, and Lois Steinberg. She is certified by Dr. Loren Fishman to teach Yoga for Osteoporosis. Her style is warm, humorous, and precise, and she loves helping all levels of yoga practitioners access the benefits of yoga.&nbsp;&nbsp;Megan taught for years at the world-renowned yoga studio, Unity Woods, in Bethesda, and now teaches at The Giving Room in Southold and privately through her website, <a href="https://www.Meganbowles.yoga" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">www.Meganbowles.yoga</a>.

Join us for an afternoon of exceptional music featuring acclaimed violinist Daniel Rafimayeri. He has performed at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, the Aspen Music Festival, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and has appeared in chamber music performances with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.&nbsp;Daniel is also an alumnus of NPR's From the Top. Daniel earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Violin Performance from The Juilliard School. Daniel will be accompanied by pianist Min Young Kim from the Republic of Korea. Following the concert, guests are invited to stay for a special meet-the-performers reception in the art gallery. This event is sponsored by the generosity of Ray Nofi.

Jamesport Meeting House

World-renowned pianist Magdalena Baczewska, who is described as "Columbia Professor by day, musical sorceress by night," returns to the Jamesport Meeting House on Saturday, September 26 at 7:30 p.m. to lead off the venue’s 1731 Series. The program features compositions by Fryderyk Chopin, Henry Cowell, Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, Franghiz Ali-Zadeh, Philip Glass, and Arvo Pärt. Ms. Baczewska has performed with orchestras including the San Francisco Symphony and Philadelphia Orchestra and at venues such as Tanglewood Music Festival, Carnegie Hall and the Beijing National Center for the Performing Arts. The East End is fortunate to be able to enjoy her incredible talent locally at the Jamesport Meeting House on September 26.
