Services usually include a time of reflection/prayer/meditation; wonderful music; readings; and a homily or sermon to lend insight into our world and how we interact with it and with each other.
The Rev. Terri Dennehy usually presides over our time together that includes participation from multiple congregants, guests, and friends. Contact the office at 203.227.7205 x 10 if you have specific questions.
UU Westport is a diverse and welcoming religious community, free of creed and dogma, and open to people of all backgrounds and beliefs. We welcome all who are in search of a non-judgmental, loving, safe community to come together to explore what it means to be human and alive in today's world, and how we can best serve one another and those around us, near and far.
Our services take place in UU Westport's iconic sanctuary building, a glorious architectural masterpiece of mid-century modernist Victor Lundy (1923-2024). The building has just undergone a major renovation and is spectacular with its soaring rooflines, sparkling glass walls, set in the woods with the beauty of nature all around it.
