Grab your cape and join HERS Breast Cancer Foundation for our <a href="https://hersbreastcancerfoundation.org/walk-run/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">27th Annual 5K &amp; 10K Walk/Run Fundraiser &amp; Community Expo</a> on Saturday, September 26th, at <a href="https://www.ebparks.org/parks/quarry-lakes" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Quarry Lakes Regional Park in Fremont</a>!Hosted by HERS and emceed by KTVU FOX 2's Heather Holmes, this is an opportunity to gather your super squad, dress as your favorite superhero, and be part of an unforgettable morning of hope, community, and support. Whether you <a href="https://raceroster.com/events/2026/129852/hers-27th-annual-breast-cancer-walkrun-fundraiser-and-community-expo" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">register</a> for our 5K walk, timed 5K run, or timed 10K run, your participation will provide essential post-surgical products and support services to local breast cancer patients.
Let's join forces to show every person facing breast cancer that they are not alone!Our impactful and inspiring morning will include:
<ul><li>Elaine's Memorial Circle and symbolic "dove" release.</li><li>High-energy Bollywood Dance Warm-Up led by Shameem Z. and her daughter, Sana.</li><li>Superhero costume contest with prizes for best dressed individuals and teams (capes are encouraged!).</li><li>Community Expo featuring local businesses, nonprofits, and community services. Pro tip: bring a bag to collect fun and useful exhibitor giveaways!</li><li>Music, photo opportunities, and family-friendly fun.</li><li>A light breakfast including coffee, tea, and juice will be served.</li><li>Adult participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and finisher's medal.</li><li>Registrants are automatically entered to win amazing prizes.</li></ul>
