Get ready for a day of creativity, competition, music and plenty of fun as the Lake Anne Cardboard Boat Regatta returns to Lake Anne Plaza, Reston, VA on Saturday, August 8th. featuring over of over 40 homemade boats. This much-anticipated Reston tradition, sponsored by the Reston Museum, brings an afternoon of hilarious mishaps, fierce-but-friendly competition and plenty of fun, free for the community to enjoy.Crush Funk Brass brings its energetic sound to the plaza from noon to 1:00 PM providing the perfect soundtrack for the festivities. Among other activities, Mindshift Gym will have an exciting obstacle course for kids, giving them a chance to test their skills while having some fun. Boat races take place from 1:00 to 3:00PM.
