I am the Recycling/Solid Waste Coordinator for the Town of Chelmsford. My office seeks to provide excellent recycling and trash collection services to all residents and to the schools and municipal facilities in town.  Our goal is to keep trash tonnages to an absolute minimum (getting rid of trash is very expensive and harmful to the environment) and to encourage residents to practice the three "r's": Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (listed in order of importance!) and other waste reduction activities like repairing, repurposing, composting, donating, etc. 

I am also a resident of Chelmsford and very happy to be living in a town that does such a good job trying to insure a healthy planet for future generations!
