Jennifer Davies, Neighbor

Jennifer developed a penchant for romance by reading novels by Dame Barbara Cartland as a teenager. After reading her books, she fell in love with the certainty of the happy ever after stories she created. Her reading tastes have grown since then and vary from Nora Roberts, Catherine Cookson and Jane Austen to Jodi Picoult, Deborah Harkness, Cassandra Clare, Suzanne Collins, P.D.James, and many more including non-fiction.

She developed a thirst for writing rather late in life, but is ever thankful that she made such a fulfilling discovery living in New England. Jennifer also writes a blog which charts her progress detailing all the highs and lows. Recently, she has created a local writers group with some amazing people to garner further support in an often isolating pursuit.

Jennifer Davies has been married for eighteen years to her best friend, and the keeper of all her secrets. Mr. D encourages her to keep reaching for the stars. They have active family life with four mostly happy and healthy boys. Her oldest son lives in Wales and works in the communication industry. In his spare-time, he acts in workshops at a local theater. Her "teens" are in high-school and the greatest challenge is balancing their social and academic lives. Whilst, her youngest is in elementary school, and he loves swimming, basketball, and Minecraft.

Jennifer Davies and her husband are originally from Cardiff in Wales, but they now live on the East Coast of America with their family and two cats Kit-Kat and Skittles. After exploring and discovering the many treasures of the North Shore in 2001, Jennifer fell in love with New England. Many of the places she grew to love were a source of inspiration for her writing and are featured on the pages in her book.
