Jim Lambert grew up watching *The Love Boat* and set his sights on the sea. The day after graduating from college, he joined Clipper Cruise Line as the youngest onboard Hotel Manager responsible for passenger satisfaction, staff, budgets, and all the moving parts of a floating city.

Jim met his future wife, Kerry McGuire, aboard the Mississippi Queen. Wanting a family, Jim eventually came ashore and discovered how hard it was to find financial guidance that truly worked for people.

Determined to help families like his own, like the many passengers who inspired him, Jim launched **First Choice Consulting** in 2001. Since then, he’s focused on turning savings into dependable, tax-efficient retirement income and making the complex feel simple. Jim is known for Medicare expertise, Social Security optimization, and coordinating Trusts and Estate Planning strategies that reduce stress, avoid pitfalls like probate, and support the legacies clients care about most all while making sure his clients have income they never outlive.
