Jennifer Renson has been writing since childhood hoping to turn this passion into a career.

Throughout high school and college she participated in the school newspaper and literary magazine. She performed and hosted Open Mic Nights at Monmouth University as managing editor and then editor-in-chief for The Monmouth Review. As a member of the Ministry of Artistic Intent, she continues to perform at Open Mics in New Jersey, expanding and broadening her audience through her poetry and stories.

Recently two poetry books: “Delightfully Dark” A Collection of Poems and Tales and “Eo” Go, walk, ride, sail, pass, travel, have been published and become available through Amazon.com. She first hand gave a copy of “Delightfully Dark” A Collection of Poems and Tales to actor/artist/photographer Norman Reedus of such films/television shows as The Boondock Saints, Blade II, Gossip, and The Walking Dead.

Her other poems have been featured in The Idiom Magazine. She was an extra for Chris Rockwell & The Stickball Social Club’s music video “We Don’t Play to Win”, has been featured in Monmouth University’s Magazine, and received Notable Today’s “Most Notable 2015 Recognizee”. She continues to write for Lost Treasure Magazine about historical figures, mysteries, and treasures including The Library of Alexandria, Captain Kidd, and King Arthur. Adding to her accomplishments two of her young adult novels will be published within the coming months.
