We'll wind past local parks, glide along the I-66 and Route 7 trails with their seamless transit connections and discover the hidden back roads that lead all the way to the iconic Wolf Trap Performing Arts Center. Take your pick of a short or long ride. Rides begin and end at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. U.S. cities. This inspiring concert highlights the next generation of 
talent through dynamic works by composers like Tchaikovsky, Florence 
Price, Jessie Montgomery, and more.&nbsp;
This concert comes almost 
exactly one year to the date (May 4, 2025) when Equity Arc’s Wind 
Symphony was supposed to perform alongside the U.S. Marine Band “The 
President’s Own”(USMB), but was cancelled due to President Trump’s 
executive order entitled “Ending Radical and Wasteful DEI Programs and 
Preferencing.” The story got national attention and was featured on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E48GgDX2NCA" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">CBS's 60 Minutes with Scott Peley</a>&nbsp;when,
 in the wake of the cancellation, Equity Arc contacted retired members 
of the premier military and military academy bands to recreate both the 
mentoring and performing experiences&nbsp;in Washington, DC previously 
scheduled for the students.&nbsp;That concert was closed to the public, but 
this one is wide-open with subsidized tickets at only $7 when you

Join local authors Kwame Alexander and Cassidy Dyce at Reston Regional Library as they celebrate the release of their graphic novel The Brainstormerz: Money Talks!
Perfect for fans of Raina Telgemeier and Jerry Craft, the book follows three best friends at Roberto Clemente Elementary School as they hatch a plan to buy the most cutting-edge phone model. It's the first volume of a new middle-grade series and includes art by Eisner winner Rashad Doucet.
This event is recommended for ages 7 through 13. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This dynamic program features the Helping Hearts dancers along with the acclaimed Minh Vo Jazz Trio, outstanding singers from Sopranessence and renowned flutist Maria Louisa Rohde, formerly of The United States Army Band, Pershing’s Own. The intimate setting of The Vault gives you the chance to be upfront and close to the artists where you will surely feel the beat of the live music and energy of the dance!
