Swim & Sport Club

The best time of year for an outdoor concert and festival is here — no apples, no pumpkins, no hayrides. Just great music and a good time for everyone. With crisp fall air and early autumn colors setting the backdrop, New Jersey music fans will gather as the historic Swim &amp; Sport Club in Flanders transforms into a jam‑filled festival field. The all‑ages event runs from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and features four live bands, food trucks, vendors, and a full day of festival energy. Attendees may stay for the entire day or come for their favorite bands — re‑entry is permitted with an event wristband, valid ID, and ticket.

<h3>A Brother’s Revival</h3>
Led by David “Rook” Goldflies (Allman Brothers Band) and Mike Kach (Dickey Betts &amp; Great Southern), A Brother’s Revival brings the iconic Southern‑rock sound to Flanders. Fans can expect classics such as “Jessica,” “Ramblin’ Man,” “Blue Sky,” and “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.” Local musician Eric Cohen joins the lineup for this powerhouse performance.
<h3>Divided Sky</h3>
A high‑energy Phish tribute delivering favorites like “Divided Sky,” “You Enjoy Myself,” “Down with Disease,” and “Bouncing Around the Room.” Their jam‑driven sets bring the improvisational spirit Phish fans love.
<h3>Touch of Grey</h3>
Performing beloved Grateful Dead classics including “Touch of Grey,” “Truckin’,” “Sugar Magnolia,” “Friend of the Devil,” and “Scarlet Begonias.” A must‑see for Deadheads and jam‑band fans alike.
<h3>Animal Instincts</h3>
A Philadelphia‑based psychedelic rock and funk fusion group known for original tracks and groove‑heavy jams. Their set blends influences from funk, jam, and psych‑rock, delivering a fresh, modern sound.

On Saturday, October 3, Jamtoberfest ’26 takes over the Swim &amp; Sport Club for an all-day outdoor concert celebrating the music and spirit of the Allman Brothers Band, Grateful Dead, Phish, and the jam-band scene.
HEADLINER: A Brother’s Revival, led by David “Rook” Goldflies of the Allman Brothers Band and Mike Kach of Dickey Betts &amp; Great Southern. They’ll bring the unmistakable sound and energy of the Allman Brothers tradition to the Jamtoberfest stage.
Come out for an unforgettable day under the autumn sky! Animal Instincts gets the music started at 1:00 PM with their heavy blend of psychedelic rock, funk, and fusion. Then, dive straight into massive jam sets from Divided Sky (tribute to Phish) at 2:00 PM and Touch of Grey (celebrating the Grateful Dead) at 4:00 PM. Finally, A Brother’s Revival takes the stage at 6:30 PM to close out the night with classic Allman Brothers energy.
Get ready for the ultimate day party! Come for the stellar live music, and enjoy awesome food, cold drinks, local vendors, and plenty of space to relax and hang out under the sun.

<h3>Families Can Explore Summer 2027 at the September 26 Open House</h3>
Families thinking ahead to summer 2027 are invited to visit Meadowbrook Country Day Camp during an Open House on Saturday, September 26, from 12–4 p.m. at 73 East Valley Brook Road in Long Valley.

During their visit, prospective camp families will have an opportunity to meet members of Meadowbrook’s leadership team, learn about the camp’s programs and philosophy, and tour its expansive wooded campus.
“There’s no substitute for coming to Meadowbrook, walking the grounds and seeing what makes the camp so special,” said owner Mason Goldberg. “We want families to get a real feel for the community their children can become part of.”
<h2>More Than a Summer Schedule</h2>
Meadowbrook Country Day Camp is an American Camp Association-accredited day camp located on a 50-acre campus in Long Valley. The camp serves children ages 3–15 and offers programming designed to help campers build confidence, independence, friendships and lifelong memories.
At the heart of the Meadowbrook experience are three priorities: family, connection and safety.
Campers become part of a caring, supportive community where they can form meaningful friendships, try new things and develop greater confidence and independence. Meadowbrook also places a strong emphasis on creating an environment where every camper feels safe, supported and included.
The camp’s TIGER core values — Teamwork, Integrity, Generosity, Enthusiasm and Respect — are incorporated throughout the summer, encouraging campers and staff to carry those lessons with them both at camp and beyond.
<h2>A Summer Filled With Possibilities</h2>
No two days at Meadowbrook are exactly alike.
Campers can spend their summers swimming in heated pools, playing sports, boating, mountain biking, taking on ropes and challenge courses, creating art, cooking, dancing, exploring nature and participating in special events and themed activities.
The variety allows children to enjoy the activities they already love while also discovering new interests and challenging themselves in new ways.
Older campers can also participate in travel programs that combine time at Meadowbrook with off-site adventures and experiences.
And while the activities are a big part of camp, the friendships and memories children create along the way are often what stay with them the longest.
<h2>Convenience for Busy Families</h2>
Meadowbrook also offers features designed to make summer easier for parents.
The camp provides door-to-door bus transportation throughout many North Jersey communities, with routes serving areas throughout Morris, Essex, Union, Sussex, Warren, Hunterdon, Middlesex and Somerset counties.
Before-care and after-care are also available, and lunch is served daily.
Another feature appreciated by Meadowbrook families is that staff tips are included in tuition, eliminating an additional end-of-summer expense.
<h2>A Place Kids Want to Come Back To</h2>
For Goldberg, whose own children have attended Meadowbrook, creating a successful camp experience goes far beyond filling a child’s day with activities.
The goal is to give campers a place where they feel known, supported and excited to return each morning.
Over the course of a summer, children have opportunities to become more independent, build confidence, develop friendships and experience the traditions and moments that make camp memorable.
Those experiences can become part of a child’s story long after the summer ends.

 On November 15, the Steeple season continues with the Munich-based Arcis Saxophone Quartet, one of the world’s most vibrant and active classical ensembles.&nbsp; On January 31, 2027, Steeple hosts pianist/composer Nicolas Namoradze.&nbsp; Cited as a Musical America New Artist, BBC Music Magazine Rising Star, and Gramophone One to Watch, this artist won the Pianist of the Year Award in 2022 per the UK Critics’ Circle.&nbsp; Steeple’s March 14, 2027, concert features Chatham, NJ-based ensemble, Lyrica Chamber Music, since 1987 one of Morris County’s longest running chamber music series.
 On Sunday, May 23, 2027, Steeple’s annual Masterworks Concert will feature, Carl Orff’s beloved Carmina Burana. With its large chorus, solo vocalists, and impressive use of percussion, this cantata brings the season to an exciting close. In addition to the concert series, Steeple Concerts will hold a Gala Fundraiser on Saturday, November 7, to support its mission of bringing high-quality live music to the Westfield area.&nbsp; Tickets and information are available on <a href="https://steepleconcerts.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">steepleconcerts.org</a>. Tickets to the first four concerts are $40/adults and $15/students.
