Jonathan Arnold is a Chicago-based economist whose years of experience, knowledge, and expertise all lead to the creation of his firm, Chicago Economics. Jonathan graduated from The University of Chicago with his B.A. (Economics and Mathematics), M.B.A. (Finance and Accounting), and Ph.D. (Business Economics).
Jonathan Arnold has years of experience working with various firms in his life. He more recently commenced work through his newly-formed firm Chicago Economics Corp, where he works to this day as an expert economist and testifies regularly in courts and other proceedings. Jonathan is frequently supported by the expert economics professionals at Compass Lexecon, where he serves as a Senior Consultant, He also is supported by others from time to time.
Throughout his career, Jonathan has testified as an expert witness for a number of high-profile cases, including a criminal LIBOR matter, the Enron Litigation, Ponzi scheme cases, the Winstar cases for the Department of Justice, and the Commonwealth Puerto Rico during its financial distress litigation. When it comes to Economics, Jonathan Arnold has a general approach and philosophy for the work he does: look at the underlying empirical data, because empirical analysis and results will always give you the true story, not an abstract theory.
Outside of his career, Jonathan Arnold is a family man who loves spending time with his family. His wife, Stephanie Arnold, is an accomplished author and writer of the massively popular 37 Seconds. Together, they have three beautiful children with whom they love spending as much time as possible.
