Jonathan Nadler is a lawyer based in Philadelphia who specializes in labor and employment law. He is currently a member of the Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellot, LLC law team. In addition, Jonathan advises employers on a wide range of workplace issues. These include hiring, employee discipline and discharge, layoffs, drug testing, wage and hour matters, computer and Internet usage, union-management relations, compliance with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other employment laws.
Jonathan Nadler received his Bachelor of the Arts degree in economics and history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His undergraduate career served him well, where Jonathan was a scholarly student with membership in an economic honors society graduated with honors. Jonathan’s dedication to his field of study led him to pursue his Juris Doctorate at the University of Virginia, where he was a member of the Senior Editorial Board for the Journal of Law and Politics. He was also deemed a Dillard Fellow, where he acted as a teaching assistant to review or comment on assignments, as well as to discuss drafts of research papers with his fellow students.
After graduating law school in 1997, Jonathan Nadler’s wit and smarts got him relatively far in his career. He served as the Philadelphia chapter president of the Labor and Employment Relations Association from 2008 to 2009, and he has given multiple speeches and written about various labor-related matters such as his opinions and insights about social media, updates about the NLRB rules, and employee handbooks. Most notably, Jonathan Nadler has been quoted in a handful of media outlets such as Bloomberg, Human Resource Executive, Law360, and Forbes, where he analyzed both outcomes of the 2012 election and how it would affect employers.
Today, Jonathan Nadler is passionate about his health and traveling the world. When the opportunity presents itself, Jonathan takes time away from work to travel overseas, where experiencing different cultures is gratifying for him. He also enjoys golf on the weekends and keeping up with Philadelphia sports teams.
