Jordan Vernoy, Neighbor

My wife Katie and I have been in Cedar Falls since attending the University of Northern Iowa. We fell in love with the city while in college, and have done all we can to stay here for the long haul. We would love for our one year old son to be able to experience the wonderful small town community atmosphere which is so hard to find.

I am the State Director of the Iowa Food Bank Association, and fight to give a voice to hungry Iowans. Serving the marginalized and downtrodden is a passion of mine, as you will see in my blogging. This passion comes from my faith. I am an active member and volunteer at Orchard Hill Church, and Katie and I co-chair the board of Young Life Black Hawk County.
