Attorney Jorge J. Perez is a former Circuit Court Judge; he served for five years after being appointed in 2003 by the Governor of Florida. His practice focuses on complex litigation involving commercial, restructuring and insolvency matters, corporate turnaround and distressed properties, particularly receiverships and other fiduciary appointments as well as alternative dispute resolution.

Mr. Perez has also served as an attorney for the Department of Homeland Security.

Jorge graduated with his bachelors degree from University of Miami and proceeded to earn his law degree at the University of Florida.

Jorge also does some arbitration and mediation when he is not enjoying his other hobbies of history, current events, and reading biographies. As a self-professed history buff, Florida attorney Jorge J Perez is interested in learning about all aspects of history, especially that which predates the 1900s. He is especially interested in ancient Roman society.

Beyond his interest in history, Jorge J Perez Attorney is also fond of traveling. With the exception of Australia, Jorge has visited every major continent in the world. His favorite destination has to be Spain; with family ties to the country, visiting Spain has meant a great deal.
