Wiffle Fall Classic, Neighbor

The Wiffle Fall Classic is an annual Charity Wiffle® Ball Tournament to raise money for The T21 Club of the Delaware Valley.

The T21 Club organizes Down Syndrome Awareness Events at the Flyers games, Phillies games and Philadelphia Zoo, along with Buddy Walks and even a Prom for young adults with Down Syndrome. The mission of the T21 Club is to support the awareness and inclusion of people with Down syndrome living in PA, NJ, and DE.

This year’s tournament will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Stanbridge Street Park Softball field in East Norriton, PA.

The entry fee is $100 per team, and teams are made up of 3-4 players (all ages and skill levels are welcome) All teams will be guaranteed to play 4 game and all players will receive an event t-shirt.

Basic gameplay:

•Medium pitch speed

•Un-scuffed Wiffle® balls and yellow Wiffle® bats will be provided. Tape only allowed on handle of bats.

•Games will be 3 innings. Extra innings start with bases loaded.

•Teams can have 3 players in the field at one time.

•No base running, unless you hit a home run and want to trot around the bases.

•3 pitchers must be used each game.

In the past 2 years, we had about 24 teams play each year. We can only accommodate 32 teams, and hope to reach that number this year.
