Viva La Vida with Excerpts from P1N0CCH10 & Carmilla features new works and a returning Oceánica Ballet autumn tradition.
Act 1 premieres selections from two upcoming story ballets. P1N0CCH10, a retelling of Carlo Collodi's classic tale of Pinocchio, explores humanity, artificial intelligence, and our relationship with the natural world. Carmilla, an adaptation of Sheridan Le Fanu's groundbreaking sapphic vampire novella, stages a mysterious masquerade ball.
Act II features the return of Viva La Vida, the original story of Lucio and Lupita in a joyful folklórico-infused tale about transcending loss and the resilience of love, inspired by Día de los Muertos. In this “celebration of life, loved ones and culture,” writes Jocelyn Tong of the Daily Californian, “mythic creatures from the land of the dead … [lead to] twirled scarves and snapped-open fans …in a story of homecoming.” Throughout all three stories, the wisdom of women across time and cultures is amplified.

FREE Medicare Sales Meeting Sponsored by Imperial Health Plan
Medicare's Annual Enrollment Period (October 15 – December 7) is here, and 2027 is bringing another year of significant changes, including plan terminations, benefit adjustments, and changes to healthcare costs.
Join local licensed independent Medicare broker Danielle McAnerney for a community meeting designed to help Medicare beneficiaries better understand their options for 2027.
Why a sales meeting instead of an educational event?
I typically conduct educational Medicare presentations, but during Annual Enrollment, I've found that most people are looking for more than general Medicare information. They want to understand their actual plan options, including premiums, copays, prescription drug coverage, and whether their doctors participate in a plan's network.
A Medicare sales meeting allows me to go beyond general Medicare education and discuss specific plan benefits and coverage options, including those offered by Imperial Health Plan.
What doesn't change is my approach: No pressure. No obligation to enroll.
Come listen, ask questions, and take information home. My goal is to provide information and guidance so you can make an informed decision about your healthcare coverage for 2027.
Walk-ins are welcome!
