Since 1954, Newport has welcomed tens of thousands of visitors to celebrate the rich history, culture and evolution of jazz music. Salve Regina University builds on the legacy of the Newport Jazz Festival by presenting a celebration of jazz dance through performances and educational experiences that place movement in conversation with jazz music.
