Her work weaves together the ancient sciences of Jyotish, yoga, and aromatherapy — offering planetary wisdom not as prediction, but as relationship. Through breath, scent, and subtle body awareness, she invites students to feel the cosmos as something near, not distant; something you live in conversation with, not under.
Sherry's teaching centers on accessibility and embodiment, meeting each student where they are and offering practices that are both practical and meaningful. She is the author of Aligned by the Stars: An Integrative Guide to Vedic Astrology and Aromatherapy for Life Challenges&nbsp;and through her private work, educational offerings, and writing, she empowers individuals to engage with ritual and self-study in ways that feel grounded, intuitive, and sustainable.
This workshop is facilitated in a trauma-informed, inclusive, and accessible manner. You are always invited — never instructed — to engage at your own comfort level.

BRAVE (Building Resilience After Very Difficult Experiences) is a peer community for middle and high school students who have lost a parent, with connection at its core. Through community gatherings and shared experiences, we create opportunities for teens to connect, feel understood, and know they are not alone.&nbsp;
While loss is what brings us together, connection is what B.R.A.V.E. is all about. Many of our events focus on fun, creativity, and community because healing doesn't always happen through talking. Sometimes it happens through simply being together.
Join BRAVE and the GW Art Therapy Program for a free community event created specifically for middle and high school students who have lost a parent.
Together, we'll paint, connect, and spend time with others who truly understand what it's like to navigate life after loss.
No artistic experience is needed. All supplies are provided.
