I've been the editor of Joliet Patch since its launch in May 2012, and prior to that I helped launch Plainfield Patch in August 2010.
As a journalist with 20-plus years' experience, I love that Patch is a grassroots approach to connecting people to the community in which they live. We provide a platform to get the news of the day just on your town -- Joliet -- as well as a community resource that allows you to offer your opinion, follow topics that interest you and interact with other Patch readers.
