This new work uses lyrics and love to confront the realities that still test our founding ideals, and to celebrate the strength of American diversity &amp; persistence. Featuring songs &amp; arrangements from acclaimed Broadway shows such as <i>Ragtime</i>, <i>Suffs</i>, and <i>Hamilton</i>, <i>Still We Rise</i> inspires audiences to dream of an America driven by love and rooted in community – and challenges them to turn that dream into reality.&nbsp;</p>

This free, family-friendly event features music throughout the evening, delicious food, drink and dessert trucks, festive giveaways from community sponsors, and a spectacular fireworks show to close out the night. In honor of the United States and Virginia 250th Anniversary celebrations, attendees can also enjoy special commemorative activities, including the official VA250 Mobile Museum Experience and participate in a festive family parade. Free onsite parking, as well as additional satellite parking with accessible shuttle bus service, will be available; shuttle services will run from Churchill Road Elementary School, St. Luke's School &amp; Church, and McLean Community Center. Please note: smoking, alcohol, vaping, glass containers, personal fireworks, weapons and pets are prohibited on school grounds.</p>
