You are invited to the September Meeting of 100+ Women Who Care of Will County!!
In one hour, we nominate, vote, and donate. Together we choose to make a difference for a local charity or group.
At each of the quarterly meetings members nominate charities, three are chosen at random, and after a brief presentation, the members vote on which charity to support. Once the winning charity is announced, everyone writes a $100 check, on the spot directly to that charity. (Teams of 2 or 4 are welcome to join and share in the giving.)
100+ Women Who Care is perfect for you if:
-You want to help those in need, but cannot personally commit a lot of time or resources;
-You want to increase the dollar impact of your own generous contribution by pooling it with others;
-You want 100% of your donation to go directly to local charities.
-And all you need to do is give $100 and one hour of your time four times a year.

Bucket specials in the bar.&nbsp;Bring your spouse; they can wait in the bar and enjoy some libations while you WIN! Domestic Bottles are $3.50 (5-bottle Domestic Buckets are $14) while watching sporting events on our six big screens. They can also try their luck playing our new Video slots and poker, and win a few dollars. Closer than the Casinos, you don’t have to fight that nasty I-80 Truck Traffic. Doors open at 4 p.m. The Public is welcome. ATMs are available.

Will County's Recyclepalooza takes place in New Lenox on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in partnership with ShareFest Will County! Free of charge, county residents can drop off nearly all kinds of unwanted electronics (such as televisions and computers), household hazardous wastes (such as paints, automotive fluids, and lawn chemicals), as well as scrap metal, wood, and clean polystyrene (Styrofoam) for recycling or safe disposal. Food pantry and animal shelter donations, toys, clothing, small home goods in working condition, and more will also be accepted.
The event takes place in New Lenox from 8 AM to 2 PM.
