Kelly Moore, Neighbor

By day, Kelly Moore is a public relations consultant and owner of a self-titled firm sitting on the border of West Des Moines and Waukee. By night, she’s a freelance writer and mom (and yes, she knows how bad that sounds).

Kelly has 10 years public relations experience in numerous industries. Over the years, she’s learned the ins-and-outs of random topics like skid-steer engineering and credit-card fraud.

Trained as a journalist at the University of Iowa, Kelly writes every chance she gets, maintaining blogs and social content for clients, as well as for a private family blog, an anonymous BlogHer Network parenting blog and DesMoinesFamilies.com.

Her family consists of three of the most superb children on the planet (just ask them) and one Cyclone-obsessed husband. The oldest son is enrolled at St. Francis of Assisi School (West Des Moines), the middle son at Maple Grove Elementary (Waukee) and the baby girl at the best kept secret in daycare.
