Join us as we kick off Valley Climate Action Week with an evening of learning and conversation featuring nationally recognized climate communicator Kathleen Biggins, founder of <a href="https://c-changeconversations.org/team/kathleen-biggins-team-bio/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">C-Change Conversations</a>. Through a science-based, nonpartisan presentation, Kathleen explains the fundamentals of climate change in an approachable way while exploring its impacts on our health, economy, communities, and future generations.

Designed to bring people together across different backgrounds and viewpoints, this program encourages respectful dialogue and practical understanding rather than political debate. Whether you're just beginning to learn about climate change or looking to deepen your knowledge, you'll leave with a clearer understanding of the issues and ideas for meaningful action.
Hosted by <a href="https://www.woodburymn.gov/1379/Woodbury-Green-Talks" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Woodbury Green Talks</a> in partnership with Sustainable Stillwater MN, the <a href="https://www.woodburymn.gov/310/Sustainability" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">City of Woodbury</a>, and the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/3428596837209562/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">East Metro Eco-Faith Collaborative</a>, this community event welcomes attendees from throughout the St. Croix Valley and East Metro.

Registration is encouraged to help organizers plan for attendance, but walk-ins are welcome as space allows.

Join Sustainable Stillwater MN for a Trash Dash at Autumn Hills Park as part of Climate Week. This one-hour community cleanup highlights the connection between everyday actions and the health of our environment.
By removing litter from parks and public spaces, volunteers help prevent pollution, protect wildlife, and contribute to a healthier ecosystem.
The event includes a short welcome, 30-45 minutes of cleanup, and a group photo celebrating the impact we made together.
All equipment will be provided—just bring comfortable shoes and a willingness to help care for the place we call home.

Hosted during Lift Bridge's popular Townie Tuesday Trivia, this relaxed evening combines friendly competition with a chance to learn something new. Trivia questions will cover topics related to climate, conservation, wildlife, renewable energy, sustainability, and local environmental efforts—all designed to be engaging and accessible for everyone.

Whether you're a trivia champion or just looking for a fun night out, everyone is welcome. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Sustainable Stillwater MN and help support local sustainability programming throughout the St. Croix Valley.

Hop on your bike and join neighbors for an enjoyable evening celebrating the many benefits of biking!
Pedal for the Planet is a relaxed, family-friendly community ride designed for cyclists of all ages and experience levels. Before heading out, participants will gather for a brief bicycle safety review and pre-ride activities before riding together through Stillwater on an easy route led by longtime cycling advocate Rick Heidick.
The ride lasts approximately 30 minutes and highlights how choosing active transportation can improve our health, reduce emissions, and strengthen our community—all while having fun together.
Participants are encouraged to wear bright green to celebrate cleaner transportation and a greener future.
The ride concludes at Matt's Basement, where participants are invited to continue the evening by attending <a href="https://www.sustainablestillwatermn.org/event-details/the-power-of-climate-storytelling" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">The Power of Climate Storytelling</a>, an inspiring Valley Climate Action Week program exploring how personal stories can motivate climate action and strengthen community.

Join us for the Community Watershed Celebration &amp; Bird Festival, a free, family-friendly event celebrating the birds, waterways, and natural habitats that make the St. Croix Valley so special. Hosted by the Browns Creek Watershed District in partnership with Bird City / Sustainable Stillwater MN, the festival features live raptors, interactive nature exhibits, environmental organizations, hands-on activities, bird-friendly living tips, and fun for all ages.
