Kayla, Neighbor

Hi!

My name is Kayla Furjanic and I work with a 501 (C)(3) Nonprofit organization called Cradles to Crayons. While we are new to the Chicagoland area, we have locations in Boston & Philadelphia which serve over 80,000 children. Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth to age 12, living in low- income and homeless situations, with the essential items they need to thrive - at home, at school and at play. We supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need. We collect items such as clothes, shoes, coats, school supplies, baby materials, along with other items. These items are used to fill orders which are placed by our partnered organizations are packed by our dedicated volunteers and then picked up as a whole "Kid-Pack".

I will primarily be using my Patch account to connect with people in the community looking to donate children's items that we collect. I am available to pick up items around the south suburbs. We also have tax receipts for donors that so choose to accept one. Please check out our website for more information about what we accept and how we help area children.
