Hey there from Cassie & Kim, the owners & head dog trainers/instructors at HEX Dog Training & Behavior Modification! Let it be known, our single greatest passion in life is dog training.

As the owners of HEX (and seven combined personal dogs) in the great commonwealth of (southern) Massachusetts, we are so grateful to live, dream, breathe that passion through Higher Expectations Dog Training & Behavior Modification every day. HEX offers private and in-home dog training, group classes, obedience, puppy, basic & higher classes, Canine Good Citizen training & testing, trick classes, behavior modification, problem solving, aggression issues, therapy dog certification & more.

We love and work with dogs of all breeds. Cassie personally owns four pit bull dogs, and has had an affinity for them since being professionally accredited in 2007. Kim has fostered over fifteen dogs personally, and specializes in private in-home training and integrative family training. One-on-one training (with the help of our pack dogs) is a major specialty of HEX, whether in-home, on location, or at our new facility in Medway. Our mission is to advance responsible dog ownership through training, education, and rescue.

We have been able to make changes where others have not because of our "outside the box" creativity, progressive-thinking, open-mindedness, team-approach, talented trainers & ongoing commitment to education. We are also not committed to any one training tool, technique or method exclusively. We run a truly personalized program for each dog & handler, and have been incredibly successful with clients who have "tried everything," based on this "non-philosophy philosophy." Your mind and your bond is the most powerful tool you have... not a particular collar or harness.

And every dog that trains at HEX... has an entire team behind them.

We want to train you and your dog in the most efficient, safe, most effective & fun way possible, whether that means puppy growing up right, or Belle just gaining some house manners! Educated, experienced & certified in many schools of dog training, HEX Trainers benefit from that commitment to personal continuing education and open-mindedness.
