For one night only on Saturday, Oct. 17, Stephen Persinger Recreation Center is transformed into the fictitious Madam Klara’s Mansion, an estate built in 1799 which has been rumored to be haunted and filled with dark magic. Participants will be given a tour of the mansion, featuring a newly discovered room of the building: Greta’s Greenhouse, where exotic plants, hidden botanical clues, and mysterious discoveries create an experience waiting to be uncovered. This is an escape room-style event that pits groups of 10 people against the clock to see if they can solve a series of challenges, clues, hidden passwords, and more before time runs out. Clues are in varying difficulty. Recommended for older children and adults, but participants can be 6+ with the help of an adult. Pre-registration is required for time slots between 1-9pm at this link: tinyurl.com/4rek3stx
