HUNTINGTON, NY — Glimmers & Ink, a healing writing workshop led by local author Janna "JT" Tusa, is now offering individual sessions after hearing from many residents who wanted to attend but couldn't commit to all three Saturdays.
Each 90-minute session at Published, the Green Street bookstore, wine and beer shop, is now $50 and can be booked on its own. Participants are welcome to join for one morning, two, or all three.
The guided poetry and reflective writing workshops focus on healing, resilience and finding hope. Tusa, author of Glimmers of Hope Vol. I and Onward Glimmers of Hope II, invites participants to slow down, explore their own stories, and connect with a supportive community.
"So many people told me they'd love to come but couldn't make every date," said Tusa. "I want anyone who needs a quiet morning to write and breathe to be able to join us."
No writing experience is needed, and sharing is always optional. Every participant receives a journal, pen and cup of coffee.
When: Saturdays, October 24, October 31 and November 7, 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Where: Published (Books · Wine · Beer), 47 Green Street, Huntington, NY 11743
