- Verona-Cedar Grove, NJ
Krysta's love for writing developed when she took the first journalism class ever offered at Linden High School. In that first year, she served as a page editor, and then worked her way through the ranks to become managing editor, and finally editor-in-chief of Tiger Print. Krysta earned a full-academic scholarship to William Patterson University, where she received a bachelor's degree in communication, with a minor in English writing. At WPU, Krysta began as a contributing writer for the school newspaper, The Pioneer Times, and worked her way to become managing editor and editor-in-chief. During college, she was an editorial assistant at New Jersey Business magazine, where she specialized in small business features. Krysta has worked on internal and external communication at public relations firms, schools, non-profit organizations, and media outlets since she graduated in January 2008.
