Through music reflecting on social change, care for the earth, belonging, and our responsibility to one another, the choir will invite us into a hopeful vision of a world rooted in empathy and shared humanity. Featuring music by Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, The Highwomen, Lenny Kravitz, and Stephen Sondheim, this service celebrates the power of music to inspire reflection, connection, and collective hope. &nbsp;

+++ All are always welcome to our Unitarian Universalist services at UU Westport, offered each Sunday at 10 AM, both in person and&nbsp;<a href="https://uuwestport.org/livestream/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">live-streamed online</a>. Services usually include a time of reflection/prayer/meditation; wonderful music; readings; and a homily or sermon to lend insight into our world and how we interact with it and with each other. The <a href="https://uuwestport.org/mission-statement/about-our-ministers-2/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Rev. Carlton E. Smith</a> presides over our time together that includes participation from multiple congregants, guests, and friends. Music Director&nbsp;<a href="https://uuwestport.org/music-program/our-minister-of-music/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Micah Krajca</a>leads our choirs. Separate children's programming and nursery care is available during the service, 10-11:15AM. Dress code is as you feel comfortable.

The building has just undergone a major renovation and is spectacular with its soaring rooflines, sparkling glass walls, set in the woods with the beauty of nature all around it.

Fairfield Town Green 

Five local churches are working collaboratively to produce the town's Juneteenth observances on Friday, June 19. The engaging program of events includes live music from The Bernadettes,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.facebook.com/TheBernadettesBand?__tn__=-]K*F" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"></a>a commemoration ceremony and lots of activities for the little ones including a double dutch jump rope demonstration, crafts, storytelling, puppetry and more with artist Iyaba Ibo Mandingo.&nbsp;There will also be food trucks on hand for snacks, beverages and dinner.The festivities will take place from 4 to 8 p.m.&nbsp;A formal commemoration ceremony will be held at 5 p.m.
In the event of inclement weather, events will move from the Town Green into First Church, 148 Beach Road, which is directly across the street from the town green.&nbsp;

This lively outdoor festivals brings together dog lovers, local businesses, and animal advocates to celebrate our Fairfield community, and pamper our four-legged best friends. 
"It's a wonderful event for the community with activities for kids and adults, and allows Adopt-A-Dog to show off some of our adorable adoptables! We look forward to having positive and fun days and hope to recruit some new foster families as well".
