Village Wellness Holistic Acupuncture & Wellness Center

This Level One certification is devoted to teaching the basic information about Usui Reiki, the history of Reiki, and the hand positions for treating yourself, your family, friends, pets, nature and the whole world.
You will receive the Usui Reiki Level One attunement. Class includes a clinical portion where you will have the opportunity to practice with other students. This is a hands-on, interactive class. Reiki is a Japanese healing art that helps the body to engage its inner resources and promotes balance.
It is a gentle, non-manipulative light touch that can help bring a client into a deep state of relaxation. In this state, levels of cortisol and adrenaline drop and it is easy for the client's body to relax and focus on self-healing. This training is open to anyone who is called to offer healing energy to their self, pets, plants, or friends. ! If you have never had reiki before - we highly recommend doing a session first!

Shamanism is not something learned only through reading or theory. It is a living practice that grows through attention, relationship, and experience.
Each gathering offers a welcoming space to learn, practice, and deepen your connection with the more-than-human world. Some evenings introduce foundational practices, while others explore specific aspects of shamanic relationship and wisdom.
These evenings are open to both newcomers and experienced practitioners.
Together we practice, listen, and remember the ways of connection that help restore balance between ourselves, our communities, and the living world.These evenings are designed for both&nbsp;new and seasoned practitioners.
If you are curious about shamanic journeying, interested in deepening your spiritual practice, or seeking community with others walking a similar path, you are warmly welcome.
No prior experience is necessary for most sessions.
Shamanic practice grows through community, practice, and relationship.

As the days grow shorter and the veil between worlds feels a little thinner, autumn invites us to turn inward. The trees begin their great release, the light changes, and nature reminds us that there is wisdom in moving slowly and listening deeply.
This class is an invitation to&nbsp;cross a threshold&nbsp;- to step out of the noise of everyday life and into the deeper, quieter places within. Through breath, movement, and sound, we’ll create space to listen for what is asking to be released, what is waiting to emerge, and what wisdom might be found in the mystery.
We’ll honor the energy of&nbsp;mid-autumn&nbsp;- a time of transition, harvest, descent, and deepening connection with the unseen. The gong’s vibrations will carry us into a state of deep listening and receptivity, helping us soften the edges between the known and unknown and reconnect with the quiet intelligence of our own inner landscape.The first half of the class is dedicated to opening, stretching, expanding, and raising our energy through Kundalini Yoga &amp; Breath-work. 
During the second half of the class laying in Shavasana (corpse pose) or sitting in meditation, you will bliss out and touch the infinite as you bathe in the AMAZING universal vibrations of the GONG!!!

Sacred Kundalini Yoga & Shamanic Sound Healing with the Gong

We are living through “interesting”, topsy-turvy times, aren’t we? We are swimming in challenging cultural patterns and earth changes, and it’s intense and can be hard for many of us. There is a collective feeling of disconnect and separation from who we are, from the earth, from the stars, from nature. This apprenticeship is about cultivating a container that can hold you and all of your experiences within an aligned and supported wholeness. It is a re-membering of who we are and our deep connectivity to all that is. This is a medicine for our times. The Pachakuti Mesa Tradition is a Peruvian-based, cross-cultural, living Shamanic tradition. “Pachakuti” means “world reversal” and refers to the time of transformation we are living in now. A mesa is an altar for self-exploration, reconnection, transformation, and personal growth in which we create a new paradigm of one’s relation to the Self and the Universe. This tradition, in all its richness, is an evolving practice of inner and outer activities that restore balance and harmony to our relationships with All That Is.In the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition, we interact and build relationships with these unseen realms through the creation of sacred space and a specific type of medicine ground, altar or mesa called the Pachakuti Mesa. This sacred patterning of elemental expressions becomes the seat of spiritual vision and the game board for interacting with all of creation.This hands-on workshop will serve to ground you in a lineage-sourced altar practice and is a prerequisite to participate in Amy’s <a href="https://villagewellness.net/classes-events-wayne-maineline-philadelphia/the-way-fo-the-sacred-tree-a-year-long-shamanic-apprenticeship" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">upcoming year-long apprenticeship</a> if you do not already have a mesa. Creating and activating your Pachakuti Mesa will support you in coming into right relationship with our world. 
Through this powerful process, we will also explore::

The Way of the Sacred Tree&nbsp;is a year-long apprenticeship in deep listening and embodied spiritual practice.
Through ritual, ceremony, nature connection, energetic prowess, and community practice, participants will cultivate a more intimate relationship with themselves, the natural world, and the unseen forces that co-create life with us.
This apprenticeship is designed to deepen your capacity to listen at the threshold of consciousness, enabling a heart-centered truth to become the guiding force of your life.
Interconnected awareness and intuition are foundational human gifts and, for most of human history, they were at the forefront of what was known. Through presence, patience, and practice, we can restore our ancient future capacities as earthstar stewards.
Together we will explore ways of perceiving that extend beyond the thinking mind.
Rational thought can only cover so much. It can only explain a limited amount of our experience. The mental knowledge we have is just a fraction of the wisdom that breathes in our universe.
Through dedicated practice we will learn to&nbsp;feel first, and then understand. To listen with the body is to discover gifts we’ve been carrying and never knew we had.
Give yourself the chance to cultivate a cellular knowing that includes the soul, the body, the heart, the senses, dreams, nature, and spirit.
This level of work requires commitment, humility, and surrender. It asks us to slow down enough to hear what has always been speaking.
As one of the great thinkers of our age, Bayo Akomolafe reminds us: “The times are urgent; let us slow down.”
Over the course of the year, participants will engage in personal practice, ceremony, mesa work, community learning, and guided exploration designed to foster a deeper relationship with their own medicine and unique path.
