Arts Festival, September 19, 20, 26, 27, 2026, in the hamlet of
Croton at 31 Rake Road, just outside of Flemington, NJ 08822, 11 a.m.
to 5 p.m. Rain/Shine/Free. 


This festival is packed with amazing
local artists, including Justin Anchinsko (stone benches and
sculpture), Diana Contine (jewelry), Gloria Kosco (pottery), Reed
Mitchell (photography), Jonathan Rischawy (painting), Zoe Rischawy
(mixed media), Steven Snyder (stone sculpture, posthumously), Deborah
Tinsman (wood art), and special guest artist Annie Haslam (painting).

Bring the kids to make "pinch
pots," which they can take home! Whether you're an art lover or
just looking for a cool way to spend the day, Croton Arts Festival
2026 has something for everyone. Come hang out, explore, and enjoy

The Bailey Basketball Academy(BBA)&nbsp;announced&nbsp;today the&nbsp;fall&nbsp;schedule for&nbsp;upcoming&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;hoops program.&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;is considered the premiere&nbsp;player development basketball program in Central Jersey and is led by&nbsp;former PDS Girl's coach and Philadelphia 76'er International Camps&nbsp;Clinician, Kamau Bailey. Coach Bailey, a former NYU graduate and player, was&nbsp;a Colorado High School All State and McDonald's All American and is a&nbsp;quality coach and teacher of the game. He is sought after as a speaker and&nbsp;hoop instructor. The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;Fall&nbsp;program will offer parents and players the opportunity&nbsp;for&nbsp;competitive boys travel teams(3rd-10th grade), weekly practices, Shot King Shooting Instruction, player development skill sessions for kindergarten through high school players(boys &amp; girls). The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;programs stress fundamentals and team play with emphasis on ball handling, shooting, passing, footwork, speed, agility, movement with and without the ball, one on one moves, defense and various other basketball-related skills.
 The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;Fall&nbsp;Skill Development&nbsp;Sessions for boys and girls are held every Monday and Wednesday&nbsp;and begins Monday, September 17th and Wednesday, September 9th&nbsp;with&nbsp;Grades 3-6: 6:00pm to 7:15pm and Grades 7-10: 7:15pm to 8:30pm thru mid - November. In addition, BBA will offer&nbsp;First Hoops Skill Development Sessions for boys and girls, grades K-2 on Friday evenings between 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
 The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;Competitive Boys Program&nbsp;for interested&nbsp;players and parents begins practice&nbsp; on&nbsp;Tuesday, September 8th and Thursday, September 10th for&nbsp;Grades 3-6: 6:00 to 7:15 pm and Grades 7-10: 7:15 to 8:30 pm) thru mid - November.&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;teams will play games on weekends in the Multi Sports&nbsp;Kingdom Mid-Jersey Basketball&nbsp;League.&nbsp;
 All&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;hoop activities will be held at the Princeton Middle School, 217 Walnut Lane or at the BBA practice court,&nbsp;3752 Highway #27. This event is open to runners, walkers and rollers ("any way" you prefer) of all abilities and supports Lower Makefield Parks and Recreation in their continued goal to make all our community parks better accessible to all citizens.
Grab your family, friends and neighbors and support this great cause with a colorful blend of fun and activity! You can run, walk or roll the 5K for time and prizes, or participate in either the 5K Color Fun Run or 1 Mile Color Fun Run. Kids 5 and under are free! Asher is currently competing in the national Baby of the Year competition, which supports Baby2Baby, a nonprofit that provides diapers, clothing and other necessities to children living in poverty. We are hoping our local community will rally around him as he continues through the voting rounds.
