The Manatee County School District's Adult, Career and Technical Education (ACT) Department provides career education for students in elementary, middle, and high school as well as through the outstanding career programs at Manatee Technical Institute. The ACT Department consists of about 500 teachers and administrative support members, and is led by Director Doug Wagner.
