gaudanse
(Gaudanse, Inc.), a 501(c)(3)&nbsp;nonprofit interdisciplinary
dance production organization, has announced an extension of its
ambitious “Key to Your HeART” House Raffle campaign. While the
original entry deadline was February 12, 2026, ticket sales have not
yet reached the minimum threshold required to award the grand prize
home.


In
accordance with the Official Raffle Rules, at least 9,500 raffle
tickets must be sold in order for the house prize to be awarded. To
allow additional time to meet this requirement, ticket sales will now
remain open through May 23, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST, with the drawing to
be held on May 25, 2026 at 3:00 PM CST.

 

The
raffle’s grand prize is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom single-family
home located at 2748 Orleans Avenue in the Bayou St. John
neighborhood of New Orleans, offering approximately 1,372 square feet
of living space. Tickets are $50, and every ticket sold directly
supports gaudanse’s mission to expand access to dance, the
performing arts, and sustainable creative livelihoods.

“We
are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us thus far by
purchasing a ticket,” said Imani Gaudin, Founding Artistic Director
of gaudanse. “Your commitment brings us closer to our vision. We
are extending our raffle because our goal is to give away this house
and build a sustainable future for the arts. To award the grand prize
in accordance with our Official Raffle Rules, 9,500 tickets must be
sold. The funds raised will allow us to continue offering free
workshops, create meaningful opportunities for artists, and pay them
fair, livable wages.”

Los Explorers Summer Camp,
running from June 22 - July 31, 2026 at 167 W. 89th Street, NYC.&nbsp;Los
Explorers&nbsp;is
an exciting half-day camp filled with creative dance, cultural dance,
music study, and arts and crafts. Each week is themed around a
country and explores the history, dances, songs, artwork, and
landscapes of the region. This summer, Explorers will be immersed in
the cultures of&nbsp;Brazil,&nbsp;Ecuador,&nbsp;Puerto
Rico,&nbsp;Peru,&nbsp;Argentina,
and&nbsp;Cuba.

Join in
the festivities at Rio de Janeiro’s famous Carnaval. Explorers will
craft their own masks as they dance to the lively beats of Samba
music and discover Capoeira. Investigate the exotic plants and
diverse mix of animals in the Pantanal, the largest freshwater
wetland in the world.

ECUADOR

June 29
<ul><li>July 3, 2026</li></ul>

Journey
to the Galápagos Islands, Andean Cloud Forest, and Avenue of the
Volcanoes—all in Ecuador. Named for the equator running through it,
Ecuador has a capital city of Quito, which is a World Heritage Site
abundant with art and culture. Explorers will enjoy the Pasillo, a
type of music and dance fusing elements of indigenous music with a
variety of musical genres including the waltz and the Spanish bolero.

PUERTO
RICO

July 6 -
10, 2026

Adventure
to Puerto Rico and learn the&nbsp;boricua&nbsp;way of life.
Discover some of the most vibrant and captivating places in the
world, from the bioluminescent Mosquito Bay, to the tiny coqui frogs
of the El Yunque rainforest. Explorers will dance through the streets
at the Fiesta Nacional de la Danza and follow the drums as they move
to the beat of the Bomba.

PERU

July 13
<ul><li>17, 2026</li></ul>

Investigate
the rich history of Peru, home of the ancient Incas and Machu Picchu,
and some of the most diverse ecosystems, flora, and fauna (including
llamas) in the world. Handmade art and textiles will inspire
Explorers as they create their own. Twirl in the Valicha and learn to
dance with a partner in the Marinera.

ARGENTINA

July 20
<ul><li>24, 2026</li></ul>

Discover
the beautiful city of Buenos Aires. Celebrate the culture of
Argentina, from Cerro Aconcagua, the highest mountain peak, through
the waterfalls and wildlife of Iguazú, to the lowest point at Laguna
del Carbón. Explorers will discover the Carnavalito genre of
Folkloric music and dance out Argentinian legends.

CUBA

July 27
<ul><li>31, 2026</li></ul>

Explore
Cuba's wide variety of landscapes and animals—from Viñales in the
western part of the country to Guardalavaca Beach in the east. Salsa
through the streets of Santiago de Cuba, and spin and leap through
the Great Theatre of Havana, where the Cuban National Ballet
performs.

Aszure Barton is among the most original and sought-after choreographers of her generation — a singular voice whose work has moved audiences around the world, from Nederlands Dans Theater to Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. We are honored to close our Women Move the World 2025/26 Harkness Mainstage Series with a landmark event that celebrates her holistic vision.
As director of Aszure Barton &amp; Artists | AB&amp;A — a multidisciplinary dance hub founded in New York in the early 2000s — Aszure has expanded beyond the conventional choreographer-company structure by reshaping what it means to build a body of work, “a mobile home for trusted humans,” as she says. Since its inception, she’s been generating dance language with her most-trusted AB&amp;A crew while simultaneously creating commissions worldwide — all through a rigorous, collaborative process that simultaneously respects and dismantles classical and contemporary forms. AB&amp;A serves as both a watering hole and connecting thread for this choreographer and her collaborators.
This 92NY celebration shares her interconnected web of community with ours by bringing together AB&amp;A artists from across the globe, including dancers from Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Gauthier Dance//Dance Company Theaterhaus Stuttgart among them Andrew Cummings, and others.
