Greenwich will once again hold two fireworks displays this year at Binney Park and Greenwich Point Park.&nbsp;
The shows are set to begin at dusk on July 2.

Attendees planning to watch from Greenwich Point should note that regular park entry rules apply. Vehicular access to Greenwich Point will close at 8 p.m., or earlier if parking capacity is reached.Residents can call 203-861-6100 for weather cancellation information.
A rain date has been set for Saturday, July 11.

Cummings Park

The City of Stamford will hold its Fourth of July fireworks show on Thursday, July 2, at Cummings Beach.
Sunset is scheduled for 8:31 p.m. that day, ad the fireworks show is slated to begin between then and 8:45 p.m.
A rain date is scheduled for July 3.
Parking restrictions and traffic changes will be in effect for the event in the Shippan area.
Beginning at 3 p.m. on July 2, parking will be prohibited on both sides of Shippan Avenue from Wallace Street to the Magee Avenue intersection, according to police. 
Parking will also be prohibited on the left side of Iroquois, Wampanaw and Rippowam roads at 3 p.m., as well as on the south side of Myrtle Avenue from its intersection with Elm Street to 162 Myrtle Ave.
At 8 p.m., the intersection of Shippan Avenue and Magee Avenue will be closed to southbound traffic, with access limited to residents. At 8:30 p.m., Magee Avenue will be closed to all traffic.
Beginning at 9 p.m., Shippan Avenue from Wallace Street north will become a two-lane, one-way northbound roadway. Magee Avenue will also become a two-lane, one-way northbound roadway.
Following the fireworks display, traffic exiting Shippan Point will be directed north onto Magee Avenue and west onto Jefferson Street (Urban Transitway) to access Canal Street, Atlantic Street, Washington Boulevard and Interstate 95.
Traffic leaving Cummings Park via Shippan Avenue will be directed north on Shippan Avenue toward Elm Street, Myrtle Avenue, Interstate 95 and East Main Street. Traffic exiting Cummings Park via Soundview Avenue will be directed to use Soundview Avenue or Willowbrook Avenue to reach Cove Road.
Police said pedestrian traffic at Cummings Park will be released first after the event, followed by vehicles.

Greenwich Town Hall

The Independence Day Association of Greenwich will kick off the nation's semiquincentennial celebration with its annual Fourth of July flag-raising ceremony at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 4, behind Greenwich Town Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
The ceremony will feature live music by the Sound Beach Community Band, the Assembly trumpet call, ceremonial rifle fire by the Greenwich Police Department Honor Guard, and remarks from First Selectman Fred Camillo. Boy and Girl Scouts will present the 13 Colonial flags, Boys &amp; Girls Club teens will recite Ragged Old Flag, and veterans from American Legion Post 29 will raise the American flag.
Good Citizenship Awards will be presented to Joell Molina of Greenwich High School, Mia Secko-Thompson of Greenwich Country Day, Meghan McMahon of Sacred Heart, Finn Sargent of Brunswick School, and Mia Jones of Greenwich Academy. The ceremony will also recognize descendants of Greenwich's early settlers, Revolutionary War patriots and fallen patriots. The names of Greenwich residents who died during the Revolutionary War will be read, followed by a moment of silence, a 21-gun salute and Echo Taps.
Following the ceremony, attendees are invited to the Town Hall gazebo for refreshments and America's birthday cake.
