Lisa Nicole Szucs is a Solano County-based humane educator whose chief goal is to promote the compassionate treatment of all animals. An avowed animal advocate since her first dog rescue at the age of 8, Lisa quickly realized the power that a regular citizen can have in finding homes for abandoned animals. Lisa has worked as caretaker volunteer at farm sanctuaries and animal shelters in California, Utah, and Puerto Rico. She has lobbied for animal-rights laws at both the state and federal level and has provided legislative direction to humane organizations across the state. Lisa currently donates her time to the Humane Society of the North Bay, in Vallejo, California, where she assists with taking photographs that capture the many charms of the adoptable animals there. Lisa is not ashamed to say that she falls in love with each new companion animal who comes to HSNB. She hopes that her photographs will help you fall in love with them, too, and ultimately, to find them what they all deserve-- a safe, loving forever home.
