Literacy Volunteers of Kent County, Neighbor

Literacy Volunteers of Kent County, Inc. (LVKC) is an accredited non-profit affiliate of ProLiteracy, Inc. For over 35 years we have trained volunteers to tutor adults whose limited English literacy skills prevent them from functioning effectively in their homes, workplaces, communities, or as citizens of the United States. Tutoring by volunteers is free of charge, is confidential, and is typically done on a one-to-one basis. LVKC provides on-going support to students and tutors in the program.
