Step back in time with us for a magical afternoon of music! The Holy Comforter Concert Series warmly invites you to a free public performance, "Ancient Airs and Dances," featuring the talented trio Gut, Wind, and Wire.Experience the beautiful, haunting sounds of the 16th and 17th centuries played exactly as they were meant to be heard—on period instruments like the lute, viol, and wooden flutes. This special concert honors the 400th anniversary of composer John Dowland with a rich tapestry of melodies from across the British Isles and continental Europe. After the final note, please stay for a complimentary reception! It is a wonderful chance to mingle, chat with the musicians, and get an up-close look at their unique instruments. We can’t wait to share this beautiful music with you.
