The Long Island Birth Network is a grassroots organization of women who promote and support the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative.  This is a model of care set forth by The Coalition for Improving Maternity Services (CIMS), a coalition of individuals and national organizations with concern for the care and well-being of mothers, babies, and families.  We are proud to offer community health monthly talks, Birth Circle, educational film screenings and the Homegrown Family Health Fair! We are a sisterhood of the Long Island Doula Association, Inc. which is a homegrown well-established 501c3.
