Lori-Ann Novello, Community Contributor

Lori Novello serves as the Executive Director of Lindy Cares, a grassroots 501(c)(3) coalition founded in 2013 with a mission to reduce the misuse of substances among youth and families in the Town of Babylon. Lori oversees the organization's operations and has administered over $2 million in federal funding through Drug-Free Communities and Partnership for Success grants. She holds an MSW and is a USMC veteran. Her background in marketing and project management led her to a career in prevention, fundraising, and community service, and she served as an elected Library Trustee for 10 years. Alongside her husband, Lori also co-founded Contractors for a Cause, a nonprofit raising funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She considers it a privilege to share her passion for advocacy, education, and the outdoors with student leaders and others who share the “Cares” vision and mission.
