Lynn Chandler, Neighbor

I have an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Human Resources, both from University of Maryland in College Park.  I have an amazing  job as a Public Affairs Officer at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland and I am also a certified career coach, where I help employees reach their full potential.  What I enjoy most about my job is that I have the opportunity to travel and I continue to learn about the great work being done at NASA.  <br>  <br> I grew up in Hyattsville in Prince George’s County and moved to Edgewater in 1994.  I  currently live in Mayo with my husband, Jeff, our son Jeffrey, our two boxers, Kirby and Oliver and two cats, Rusty and Sunny.   Our daughter, Nicole, recently moved to Annapolis.  My husband is a retired firefighter from P.G. County, Jeffrey is a freshman at South River High School and Nicole is an ER Nurse in Baltimore.  <br>  <br>  <br> When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family and friends.  I spend lots of my time chauffeuring my son up and down Rt 214 to his sports practices and games.  I love the time we get to spend together and you would be surprised what you can learn while driving the kids around!<br> <br> I am thrilled to be trying my hand at something new and different  by freelancing  with the Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch, writing about places to go and things to do in and around my neighborhood.
