I’m a Brit, a mom, a midnight peanut butter eater and a vampire fanatic (before they were cool, think Salem’s Lot.) I’m hair-adventurous, which means I love to change the color and style of my hair frequently: short, long, bob, blond, brown, black, red, curly, straight… I’ve done them all.

I’m known among my friends for being pretty adventurous, spontaneous and decisive, a combination which can scare the living daylights out of my poor husband who lives in constant fear of every dream I say out loud turning into an email with dates and plans the very next day.

When I’m not behind a camera, I’m writing for local publications like Sacramento Parent magazine or Folsom Style, and plotting my next travel adventure. I’ve been to 19 countries on 4 continents, which doesn’t even begin to quench my thirst. I believe that travel is the best education, learning through doing and stepping out of your comfort zone instead of reading all about it in a book. There’s nothing as exhilarating and stimulating as immersing yourself in the smells, sounds and customs of a foreign culture and I love nothing more than standing side-by-side with my daughter as she soaks it all up.
