Marc Fredette, Neighbor

A native of New England, Marc Fredette, was settled as parish minister at First Parish in Waltham in 2006. He attended Humboldt State University and the University of California at Santa Barbara, CA before returning to New England in 1988. Prior to pursuing ministry, Marc worked as a computer programmer, training consultant, and software manager in southern New Hampshire. He says that his call to ministry grew, in part, out of his prior career experience. In 2001 Marc began his religious studies at Harvard Divinity School in Cambridge, MA with an emphasis on urban ministry. He was ordained to the Unitarian Universalist ministry in 2004. Marc’s personal passions include cooking, gardening, working with wood, a love of singing, dramatic reading, and dance.
