Among the ethnic communities that migrated to America in the eighteenth century, the Scots Irish are perhaps the most important for understanding this country’s fairy folklore. Join Andrew Warburton as he explores the extent to which the Scots Irish brought fairy folklore to the United States—through their stories, their “magical” practices, and their ballads.
