Margaret Curtis, Neighbor

I grew up in Dix Hills, as the youngest of ten children.  Our property abutted the farm on the corner of Deer Park Avenue and Mac Niece Place. I can honestly say that my neighborhood was a child's paradise! Trees to climb, horses to ride, hills to hike and fields through which to run. Though I moved out of Dix Hills and New York when I was 15, I still have warm memories of the wonderful town in which I was raised.  Happily, I still have family on the Island, so I still get to visit my old stomping grounds now and then.
