Margaret Gupta, Neighbor

Margaret Gupta is an entrepreneur, social activist, and philanthropist. Margaret and her husband, Shashi Gupta, co-founded Apex CoVantage in 1988, a global IT services company, with over 6,000 employees worldwide at its peak. They had two exits from the company, the first in 2016, and the final one in 2021 at which point they retired. Margaret serves as President of the Gupta Family Foundation - a non-profit started concurrently with the business. For 30+ years, the Foundation has supported organizations around the globe dedicated to helping disadvantaged people become self-reliant and from time to time, undertaking community projects and emergency relief. She also serves on the Boards of Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, Global Camps Africa, and the Center for American Progress.
