Rotary Biography

Marguerite “Maggie” Padovani has been a dedicated Rotarian for 17 years, including 16 years in Rotary District 5170 and the past year and a half as a member of the Rotary Club of Napa in Rotary District 5130 and now a new member of the Rotary Club of Santa Roa/

Currently, Maggie serves as Rotary District 5130 Public Image Chair and is actively supporting the World Polio Torch 2026 initiative, as well as District Membership activities focused on strengthening Rotary engagement and growth throughout the district.

Throughout her Rotary journey, Maggie has focused extensively on Public Image, communications, branding, and member engagement, serving in leadership roles as a District Public Image Chair. Drawing upon her professional career in high-tech public relations and corporate communications, she has helped Rotary clubs and districts strengthen their visibility through media relations, strategic communications, social media, event promotion, and community outreach initiatives.

Professionally, Maggie held senior corporate communications positions in Silicon Valley, including Director of Corporate Communications roles for major technology companies such as CyberSource and Verity, Inc. She also founded her own public relations agency, specializing in marketing communications and brand strategy.

Within Rotary, Maggie has contributed to numerous district initiatives, training programs, and major events, including co-chairing the Rotary District 5170 Conference in 2021. She also created and chaired the highly successful International Women’s Day event for three consecutive years, an innovative Rotary program designed to attract non-Rotarians and showcase women leaders from the Silicon Valley community. The event became both a successful public image initiative and an effective membership attraction platform.

Maggie is passionate about helping Rotary clubs modernize their public image, strengthen community engagement, and grow membership through strategic storytelling, media outreach, and meaningful community connections.
