SET for LIFE (Social Equity and Training for Living Informed Futures Everyday) is celebrating 20 years of service in the San Gabriel Valley by bringing its signature Love L.I.F.E. Celebration to Pasadena for the first time. Taking place on Saturday, May 2 at Lincoln Avenue Christian Church, this free, all-ages community event will bring together families and community members for a day of connection, entertainment, and resources, to strengthen our community as we celebrate the gift of LIFE. Guests will enjoy live jazz music by a surprise local saxophonist, a live DJ, line dancing, and a variety of food trucks including Tommy’s, DD’s Chick and Cat Shack, Taco Papas, and hot dogs, along with free fresh produce. The celebration will also feature engaging activities such as mini golf, a rock climbing wall, kids inflatables, arts and crafts, and selfie and photo stations. Love LIFE Pasadena goal is to promote positive social interaction, reduce stigma around mental health, and connect the community to valuable support services. Registration is required. Receive a complimentary bra fitting. For every guest who gets fit and purchases a regular-price Wacoal or b.tempt’d bra at the event, Wacoal will donate $5 to Susan G. Komen®, supporting breast cancer research, patient services, and critical education programs.
For 25 years, Wacoal’s partnership with Komen has helped ensure individuals facing breast cancer have access to critical education, resources, and support. One hundred percent of Wacoal’s donation supports Komen’s direct patient services, including the Patient Care Center, which provides access to breast health services, financial assistance, clinical trial information, and education.
