Mark Munsey, Neighbor

Mark Munsey is a multimedia journalist whose work has been featured in over 130 publications including the Miami Herald, Honolulu Star-Bulletin, Chicago Sun Times and Stars and Stripes.

Before joining the Palm Harbor Patch, Munsey was a photojournalist for the US Air Force with several hundred bylines from Camp McMurdo Antarctica, Nairobi Kenya, Berlin Germany and dozens of duty stations and deployed locales around the world.

Munsey has written about and photographed military surf championships, presidential visits and everything in between, garnering more than a dozen Air Force-level and above writing awards as well as managing editor of the Hickam Kukini, the only back-to-back metro newspaper publication of the year in Air Force history.

He grew up in California, New Hampshire and across the bay in Tampa as is currently looking for the next great country stamp for his now-third series passport.

When Munsey is not busy reporting he loves watching sports and movies, bugging the heck out of local museum and gallery curators or finding a great band or hole in the wall pub (especially concurrently).
